When you have a teenager, you always want to know that they’re safe and close by. However, it’s nice to be able to give them (and you!) a little more space where they can stretch their wings as they grow. Basement suites or apartments are an ideal way have them close, yet far enough away for more independence. Here we transformed part of a 1933 year old home’s basement into a bedroom, bathroom, and workspace with a bed and bath closet in each - a major facelift!
